JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver to work for a logistics company based in Chorley.

Key Responsibilities

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
Loading and unloading vehicles.
Moving stock around the warehouse and storage areas.
Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
Carrying out stock checks and inventory control activities.
Ensuring goods are stored correctly and safely.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Completing relevant paperwork and warehouse records.
Following all company health and safety procedures.
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.

Essential Requirements

Previous warehouse experience.
Good understanding of health and safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.

Desirable Requirements

Counterbalance FLT licence or previous experience on a counterbalance truck
Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.

Shifts

Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm

There is sometimes overtime available on a Saturday which would be 8am-12pm

Pay Rate

£13 per hour – time and a half on Saturdays
