Warehouse Operative (Driver)

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative who will also do some occasional driving, for our client based in Avonmouth, Bristol.

• Days £12.75 per hour
• Location: Avonmouth, Bristol (BS11)
• Immediate start
• Driving License required (maximum of 3 points on license)

JDR is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with occasional driving responsibilities, to work in a large warehouse and distribution site in Avonmouth.

We want customer focus as your main drive and a passion to go the extra distance to make our client stand tall above their competitors. You will need to be flexible to cover other departments when required.

The role will be mainly Warehouse operations but also helping out with driving duties covering holidays and during busy times.

You will be expected to:

• Complete Warehouse Duties
• Driving duties covering holidays and during busy times
• Picking & packing customer orders for collection & dispatch
• Checking stock as well as stock replenishment
• General cleaning duties during quiet times
• Help loading and unloading of vehicles
• Manual handling and able to lift items up to 25kg

On occasion the role will involve customer facing to the ideal candidate will be Customer conscious, Confident and reliable

About you;

• Good communication and organisation skills
• Computer literate
• Full Driving License with maximum of 3 points
• 3 years driving experience preferred
• An enthusiasm to learn about the products our client is selling and being able to absorb and retain information is key.
