JDR Recruitment is currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives for an ongoing temporary assignment based in the Mallusk area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced distribution environment with regular work available.

The Role

Working as part of the night shift team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring parcels are processed efficiently and safely through the depot to meet tight delivery deadlines.

Duties may include:

• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Sorting and scanning parcels
• Moving freight safely around the warehouse
• Working as part of a busy team to meet operational targets
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all Health & Safety procedures

Shift Information

• Night Shift
• Current start times are typically between 8:00pm and 9:00pm
• Average shift length is around 8 hours
• Job & finish basis, so flexibility is essential as finish times may vary depending on operational requirements
• Current working pattern is Sunday to Friday
• During peak periods, shifts may be available across 7 days per week

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a physically active role
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible with working hours and finish times
• Own transport is advantageous due to shift times
