Warehouse Supervisor

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing both warehouse and production operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from raw materials through to finished product dispatch. This position is ideally suited to a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, with a strong focus on operational excellence, team leadership, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

Our client are seeking a highly organised and proactive Production / Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. This is a key role responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing production lines, coordinating logistics, and ensuring efficient stock control and replenishment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Management

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and compliance

  • Manage goods-in and goods-out processes

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

• Production Supervision

  • Supervise production lines to ensure targets, quality, and safety standards are met

  • Coordinate staffing and workflow to optimise productivity

  • Work closely with production teams to resolve issues quickly

• Logistics Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate dispatch schedules and deliveries

  • Liaise with transport providers and internal teams to ensure timely distribution

  • Monitor logistics performance and implement improvements

• Stock Management & Replenishment

  • Maintain accurate stock levels using inventory systems

  • Oversee stock rotation and minimise waste

  • Ensure timely replenishment of raw materials and finished goods

  • Conduct regular stock checks and audits

• Team Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse and production staff

  • Provide training and ensure adherence to company procedures

  • Promote a strong health & safety culture

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or production supervisory role

• Strong knowledge of stock control and inventory management systems

• Experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of health & safety regulations

• Strong communication and leadership abilities

Desirable

• Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environment

• Familiarity with lean processes or continuous improvement

• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
