Warehouse Team Leader

Our client based in Durham are looking for a permanent Warehouse Team Leader to join their team. We are expanding from a single person warehouse operation to a structured two person team. The Warehouse Team Leader will take ownership of the day to day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and excellent customer service.

Hours – Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00

Salary £30,000-£34,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support a small warehouse team (initially one direct report with plans to increase as the business grows)

Oraganise daily workload and priorities

Develop and improve warehouse processes as we scale up

Maintain high standards of accuracy, organisation and housekeeping

Assist with goods in processing and unloading of larger deliveries

Conduct stock checks and cycle counts

Liaise directly with courier companies regarding collections, delays and claims

Book shipments and resolve delivery issues

Process customer returns efficiently and accurately

Operate a forklift counterbalance

What we are looking for

Full UK Driving License

Valid counterbalance license

High attention to detail

Strong organisational skills
