Warranty & Invoicing Administrator

Our Client in Preston is looking for a Motor Trader Administrator based in Bamber Bridge. You will act as a critical link between the workshop, the customer and the manufacturer to ensure all repairs are processed and paid for correctly.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week (Shifts between 7am and 6pm)

Responsibilities/Daily Duties:

• Processing Claims: Submitting and monitoring warranty and Repair & Maintenance (R&M) claims according to strict manufacturer guidelines.
• Verification: Managing and Verifying technician write-ups to ensure they meet the specific criteria required for a successful claim, in a timely manner.
• Tracking & Follow-up: Monitoring the status of claims from submission to final payment, investigating rejections, and resubmitting claims where necessary.
• Parts Handling: Coordinating with the parts department to identify and process defective parts that need to be returned to the manufacturer or scrapped.
• Stay Informed: Keeping up to date with the latest manufacturer warranty bulletins and advising technicians on procedural changes.
• Data Input: Updating customer Invoicing records and resolving any internal queries.

Skills & Experience:

• Ideally experience in Generating Invoices/Processing Claims
• Vehicle/Fleet experience would be preferred, but not essential
• Interest in vehicle maintenance
• Parts Handling
• Office Administration experience essential of over 12 months
• Organised and attention to detail
• Customer Focused and confident communicator both in person and on the telephone
• Able to work in a team environment
• Strong organisational abilities with the cabilities to work in a busy environment
