JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Warehouse / 3.5T Multi Drop Driver based in Glasgow.

Job Description

This role will involve both warehouse and driving duties within a busy engineering environment. Successful candidates will be responsible for organising materials within the warehouse, loading and unloading the van, and completing multi drop deliveries of engineering materials to staff and customer locations.

Candidates must be comfortable with manual handling duties as heavy lifting may be involved as part of the role.

£12.71 per hour

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
07:30am – 5:00pm

Job Duties

• Multi drop deliveries to engineering staff and customer locations
• Warehouse duties including organising stock and engineering materials
• Loading and unloading the van safely and efficiently
• Delivering engineering materials to various locations
• Supporting warehouse operations when required
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring vehicle cleanliness
• Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and professionally
• Working within Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Heavy lifting may be involved as part of the role

Requirements

A valid Counterbalance FLT Licence is required for this role

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous multi drop driving experience preferred
• Warehouse experience advantageous
• Good knowledge of safe manual handling procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work within a busy engineering environment
