About the Company

Our client is a growing, high-precision engineering business operating at the forefront of advanced manufacturing. Supporting a range of high-performance industries, they specialise in producing complex components where quality and accuracy are critical.

Due to continued growth and increased demand, they are now looking to add a skilled 5-Axis CNC Machinist to their team.

The Role

This is a hands-on position within a technically advanced machining environment, where you will take ownership of components from initial set-up through to final inspection.

You’ll be working on low-volume, high-complexity parts, requiring a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines
  • Machine complex components to tight tolerances
  • Develop and optimise work-holding solutions
  • Select appropriate tooling, feeds, and speeds
  • Carry out in-process inspection and final checks
  • Accurately record measurements and maintain quality documentation
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure parts meet specification

Requirements

  • 2+ year’s experience with 5-axis CNC machining
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Comfortable working to tight tolerances and deadlines
  • Good communication skills and a proactive mindset

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working with high-performance or difficult-to-machine materials
  • Exposure to advanced manufacturing or post-processing environments
  • Knowledge of inspection processes and measurement techniques
