About the Role

JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join a busy Customer Service Centre in Newark.

Working as part of the Supply Chain team, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to field operatives, helping to ensure the smooth running of operations and maintaining a high standard of customer service.

This is an immediate start opportunity and would suit an experienced Administrator with a background in warehouse administration, stock control, inventory, logistics, supply chain or customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to field operatives.

  • Acting as the first point of contact for telephone queries from internal and external customers.

  • Dealing with queries efficiently and following processes to ensure speedy resolution.

  • Maintaining accurate system records, customer information and documentation.

  • Communicating effectively with field operatives and central teams.

  • Dealing with general correspondence and telephone-based administration.

  • Compiling information and generating reports.

  • Filing and maintaining accurate records.

  • Checking the accuracy of daily activities and system information.

  • Monitoring orders and jobs to ensure customer repairs are updated correctly on the operating system.

  • Checking serial numbers and IRIS codes and resolving any errors promptly.

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the Distribution Centre.

  • Contributing to a positive working environment and continual improvement.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous administration or customer service experience.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Good planning and organisational skills.

  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Experience with data entry, record keeping and report generation.

  • Previous stock, inventory or warehouse administration experience would be an advantage.

  • Some understanding of warehousing, logistics and distribution operations.

  • A customer-focused approach and the ability to resolve queries efficiently.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is essential.
