Assembly Operator

JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for an Assembly Operator / Solderer to join their growing manufacturing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with soldering or electronics assembly experience who are looking for a long-term role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Pay

• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay every Friday

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 4:00pm
• No weekends
• Temporary to Permanent opportunity

The Role

Working within a clean, modern manufacturing environment, you’ll be responsible for assembling high-quality electronic products and components to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Soldering electronic components to a high standard.
• Assembling products using hand tools and small components.
• Reading and following assembly instructions and technical drawings where required.
• Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conducting basic testing and quality checks.
• Maintaining a clean and organised workstation.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Working as part of a close-knit production team to achieve daily targets.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous soldering experience (essential).
• Experience in electronics or precision assembly is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good manual dexterity and the ability to work with small components.
• Reliable, punctual and eager to learn.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
