Role: CNC Operative – Backshift

Location: Brompton on Swale

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm-11pm and Friday 2:30pm-8pm

Pay rate: £17.41 per hour + overtime rates available

JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CNC Operative on behalf of our steel client in Brompton on Swale. This position is working on the backshift Monday to Friday with overtime available on Saturdays. The successful candidate will have previous experience within a CNC role, ideally within a structural steel environment.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity so it’s a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and secure long term work.

What you’ll be doing –

  • Efficient operation of the CNC machinery
  • Follow the daily processing checklist
  • Monitoring the performance and maintenance of preparation lines
  • Liaise with Voortman on breakdowns

What we’re looking for –

  • Previous experience within a CNC position
  • Self motivated and can work on own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised and able to prioritise workload
