Delivery Driver / Installer – Belfast

Location: Belfast, with deliveries throughout Ireland
Salary: £25,500 per annum during the initial 12-week agency assignment, increasing to £26,500 upon successful transfer to permanent employment
Hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility required around delivery schedules
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

JDR Recruitment is recruiting a Delivery Driver / Installer for a Belfast-based role combining deliveries, product installation and warehouse duties.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience, a practical approach and strong customer service skills who enjoys varied work both on the road and within a team.

The Role

Key duties will include:

• Delivering stock to customers throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

• Delivering and installing homecare beds and other medical products.

• Providing a professional, friendly service and guidance on products where required.

• Organising stock and maintaining a clean, tidy and safe warehouse.

• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day warehouse and operational duties.

• Following relevant safety and legal requirements during warehouse work, deliveries and installations.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A full, clean driving licence.

• Previous warehouse experience.

• Good customer service and communication skills.

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Flexibility to accommodate varying delivery schedules and finish times, Monday to Friday.

Desirable Skills and Experience

It would be advantageous to have:

• A counterbalance forklift licence.

• Experience delivering and installing medical products.

• Experience in stock rotation and replenishment.

• Knowledge of warehouse systems, Business Central or similar software.

• Experience receiving and dispatching goods using a computerised system.

• Good IT and administration skills.

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently.
