Dispatch Operative - Permanent Role

JDR Recruitment are looking to recruit a Dispatch Operative to join our client based in Woolston, Warrington WA1.

This position is directly permanent with our client.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Pick, Pack & Dispatch Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch while ensuring full compliance with company procedures.

Job Role: Dispatch Operative

Location: Woolston WA1

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7am until 4pm ( Friday 7am until 1pm )

Salary: £27,456 – £29120 per annum – Dependant on experience

The Role:

• Picking finished goods and components accurately from stock locations
• Packing items securely to prevent damage and ensure safe transportation Preparing dispatch documentation, including delivery notes and courier paperwork
• Conducting quality and quantity checks prior to dispatch
• Supporting goods-in processes and stock control
• Updating stock systems and reporting discrepancies
• Assisting with stock takes and inventory audits
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and secure work area

Skills / Experience / Requirements

• Previous experience in dispatch role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good numeracy and IT skills
• Ability to follow written procedures and compliance requirements
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.

Desirable:

• Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (Counterbalance/Reach)
• Knowledge of export documentation and UK shipping regulations.
