Experienced CNC programmer

JDR are hiring for multiple CNC programers for one of their clients in Newcastle under Lyme

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to put their skills to use to earn some good money.

Contract type: Permanent vacancy

Pay rate: £16.50 to £18 per hour, depending on experience.

Working hours:

Work a fixed shift, Night shift includes a shift allowance.

Day shift, 7:30 – 4:30, monday to Friday. 12:30pm finish Friday

Night shift, 18:00 – 4:30am, Sunday to Thursday

What does the role look like:

• Programming, setting and monitoring of Lathe, Mills and turning CNC machines using CADCAM software
• Regularly performing quality checks on the finished products in line with the companies QMS
• Working to estimated production times
• Working within the companies H&S policy
• Ensuring the work areas are organised and tidy.
• Ensuring tooling is returned to the tool stores.
• Ensuring material is returned to the material stores.

What we’re looking for:

• An experienced CNC setter, who has experience working through the full CNC lifecycle, including programming, setting and operating.
• Programming experience with Heidenhein, Mazatrol or Siemens controls would be a benefit, as would any expereince with CADCAM software
• Someone who has an eye for detail and can quality check finished products.
