HAND BALLER / WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

• 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Initial shifts: Friday 2nd October & Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th October 2026

JDR Recruitment are currently looking for reliable and physically fit Warehouse Operatives / Handballers to support our client in Newport Pagnell.

The role involves the loading and unloading of lorries and containers, handling heavy rugs and putting stock away within the warehouse.

Some rugs can weigh up to 24kg, so you must be comfortable with regular manual handling, lifting and carrying throughout the working day.

The Role

• Loading and unloading lorries and shipping containers

• Manual handling of rugs and other goods

• Moving and carrying stock around the warehouse

• Putting goods away into the correct storage locations

• Keeping the warehouse and work areas tidy

• Following site health and safety procedures

• Working as part of a team to complete loading and unloading tasks efficiently

About You

• Previous warehouse, handballing, loading/unloading or manual handling experience is desirable

• Physically fit and able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 24kg

• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role

• Reliable and punctual

• Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team

• Good attitude towards work

• Own transport is desirable due to the location

Working Hours & Pay

• £12.71 per hour
• 8:00am – 5:00pm

The immediate requirement is:

• Friday 2nd October 2026

• Wednesday 7th & Thursday 8th October 2026

This is currently ad hoc work, with the potential for further shifts depending on the client’s requirements, your attitdue, conduct and performance.
