Handballers / Container Unloaders – Riddings, Alfreton

Location: Riddings, Alfreton
Start Date: Monday
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Shift: Ad hoc shifts, typically 7:30am or 8:00am starts
Hours: 8-hour shifts

JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting for Handballers / Container Unloaders to support our client in Riddings, Alfreton.

This is a very physical, hands-on role involving the unloading and emptying of containers as they arrive on site. You will be required to lift and move items throughout the shift, so a good level of physical fitness and the ability to carry out manual work is essential.

The role:

• Unloading and emptying incoming containers

• Manual handling and moving stock

• Regular lifting of items weighing up to 25kg

• Working as part of a small team to ensure containers are unloaded safely and efficiently

• Keeping the work area clean and organised

• Following all health and safety procedures

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, container unloading or manual handling environment is beneficial

• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual work

• Able to lift up to 25kg safely

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable working at pace

• Good team player

• Own transport is beneficial due to the location and shift start times

• Opportunity to work additional shifts depending on workload
