We are looking for a Lab Technician

Pay: £12.81 – £13.75 an hour

Location: Taunton, Somerset

Immediate start

Shift: Monday to Friday 35 hours per week

Permanent contract

JDR is recruiting for a Lab Technician to work in a manufacturing site in Taunton.

The role: As a Lab Technician, you will be working within a manufacturing environment, and your duties will be as followed:

  • The role would include carrying out various processes in a production environment whilst working safely to Health & Safety/COSHH standards.

  • Processes to include cleaning, testing & etching of small precise components & assemblies.

  • Any other duties necessary

About you: As a Lab Technician you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Start immediately and looking for long term work
  • Preferably with some previous experience in handling chemicals (inc bulk handling up to 25kg) in a production environment.
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Previous Lab experience
  • Able to work well within a small team
