JDR Recruitment are looking to recruit a stand in supervisor to join our client in Runcorn WA7

Our client is a well established manufacturing business.

The successful candidate will support the team by covering for the Supervisor as required and otherwise perform as a key Operator within the department. You’ll work with both manual and automated injection moulding equipment, handling a wide range of production activities.

Salary: £31,014 ( inclusive of shift allowance)

Hours of Work: 3 Shifts Rotating weekly ( AM , PM . NIGHTS)

Location: Runcorn WA7

Contract; Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform mould changes, material and colour changes.
* Prepare equipment, tools, paperwork, and ancillary items for production setup.
* Monitor daily production and quality control records; identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
* Ensure quality standards and production targets are consistently met.
* Operate machinery efficiently under pressure, minimizing downtime.
* Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
* Conduct routine housekeeping and maintenance of machinery and work areas.
* Carry out all necessary manual tasks associated with the moulding process.
* Report any potential issues with equipment, facilities, or safety to management.
* Provide performance feedback and assist in training new starters.
* Suggest improvements to safety, equipment, and operational procedures.
* Maintain and record health and safety checks.
* Provide cover for supervisors and operators during absences.

Skils/ Experience:

Previous injection moulding / plastics experience is desirable

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Organized, motivated, and reliable with good time-management skills.

Confident communicator with a proactive and professional attitude.
