We are looking for a Machining Technician

Pay: £12.71 – £13.31 an hour

Location: Taunton, Somerset

Immediate start

Shift: Monday to Friday 35 hours per week

Temporary to permanent contract

JDR is recruiting for a Machining Technician to work in a manufacturing site in Taunton.

The role: As a Machining Technician, you will be working within a manufacturing environment, and your duties will be as followed:

  • Carrying out various machining and associated processes in the production of precision components.

  • The role will involve mounting, machining, cleaning off & checking work amongst other associated production tasks.

  • Following drawings & works instructions.

  • Working to high Health & Safety/COSHH standards.

About you: As a Machining Technician you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Start immediately and looking for long term work
  • Previous machining experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Reliable
  • Able to work well within a small team
