Material Handler

We are looking for a Material Handler

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off (4 days 7am-7pm then 4 nights 7pm-7am)

Pay: £16.02 an hour

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Immediate start

Temporary to Permanent contract

JDR is recruiting for a Material Handler to work in a large manufacturing site in Bridgwater.

The role: As a Material Handler you will be working within a manufacturing / warehouse environment and your duties will be as follows:

• Picking raw materials and moving around the site with bags that are 2.2 metres
• Using the machines to grind trays and sheets
• Processing materials
• Taking material out and moving and then putting into the bags
• Lifting bags onto the platform
• Will be multi skilled role where 15% of the time you will be using the forklift and 85% of the time the role will be a mixture of duties
• Working within a noisy environment
• This role will be a very manual role

As a Material Handler you will have the following skills and experience:

• Available to start soon and are looking for long term work
• Good level of organisation
• A counterbalance licence is a must and happy with in house certificate
• Quick learner
• Strong work ethic and professional approach
• High level of attention to detail
• Able to work both days and nights on a 4 shift pattern
