MIG Welder / Fabricator – Heavy Manufacturing

JDR are working with a leading manufacturing business based in County Tyrone who are looking to recruit an experienced MIG Welder / Fabricator to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term role within a busy production environment, working on high-quality engineered products.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out MIG welding and fabrication duties, working from technical drawings to produce components to a high standard. The role will primarily focus on welding, with some involvement in broader fabrication tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Perform MIG welding to a high standard
• Ensure all work meets quality expectations and production targets
• Support fabrication and general workshop duties where needed
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth production flow
• Assist in identifying and resolving welding or production issues
• Maintain tools, equipment and a safe working environment
• Follow all health & safety procedures and best practices

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ MIG welding experience
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Experience within a manufacturing or heavy engineering environment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and proactive attitude
