Production Operative Required

Mansfield (NG18) | £12.71 per hour, rising to £15.25 after training | Monday-Thursday, 6am-4pm

We’re looking for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Mansfield (NG18), just outside the town centre.

The company manufactures solvent-based adhesives, and you’ll play an important role in keeping production running safely and efficiently.

What will you be doing?

• Preparing and handling raw materials for production

• Mixing materials in line with production requirements

• Filling and packing adhesive into containers

• Operating and monitoring production equipment

• Checking products meet the required quality standards

• Keeping production areas clean, tidy and safe

• Following health & safety procedures when working with chemicals

• Supporting the wider production team to keep everything running smoothly

No previous experience working with chemicals is required – full training will be provided. You’ll receive training on the products, processes, equipment and safety procedures before working independently.

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment

• Physically capable of carrying out the duties involved

• Able to follow instructions and safety procedures carefully

• Happy working around chemicals and wearing the required PPE

• A good team player with a strong work ethic

• Looking for regular, long-term work

Previous manufacturing or production experience would be useful, but isn’t essential as full training is provided.

The hours & pay

Monday to Thursday: 6:00am-4:00pm – 40 hours paid.

That means every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off!

• £12.71 per hour to start

• Increasing to £15.25 per hour once fully trained (20% increase)

• Full-time, regular work
