Field Sales Executive – Cardiff

JDR Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and ambitious Field Sales Executive to join a growing business based in Cardiff.

Salary

• £32,000 – £35,000 basic
• OTE up to £43,000

The Role

As a Sales Executive, you’ll be responsible for generating new business, building lasting customer relationships, and identifying tailored solutions for commercial clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Proactively generating new business through business visits, cold calling, networking and prospecting.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identifying customer needs and presenting suitable solutions.
• Preparing quotations, negotiating contracts and closing sales.
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
• Developing a portfolio of repeat business.
• Keeping up to date with market trends and industry developments.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in field sales, telesales or business development.
• Confident in cold calling, face-to-face sales and business development.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven and commercially aware.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
• Competent using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• A positive, resilient attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
