£13.26 per hour – paid weekly

Tuesday to Friday hours, 3 day weekend!

We’re currently recruiting for a Waste Collection Operative to work on behalf of the local authority in the Barnsley area. This is an ongoing temporary assignment for the next 3 months, during this time you’ll be paid weekly via the agency. This is a full time role working across 4 days so you’ll be able to enjoy a 3 day weekend.

Successful candidates must hold a valid UK driving license.

What you’ll be doing –

• Working throughout the borough providing council services
• Responding to community priorities to ensure household waste collection is completed daily
• Undertake all operational duties in all weathers/elements
• Work to agreed schedules and standards within your role
• Comply with health and safety standards at all times

What we’re looking for –

• Experience of working in a similar role in waste management or a similar role
• Experience of working as a team and on an individual basis
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and adhering at all times
• Communicate politely and effectively
• Working to daily schedule and ensuring all tasks are achieved

Hours of work –

• Tuesday to Friday, 6am-3:45pm
