Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing

Location: Middlewich (CW10)

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Finishing Operative to join a busy manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality finished products.

As a Finishing Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of finishing processes on wooden products, ensuring they meet the company’s high quality standards before being dispatched to customers. Your duties will include sanding wooden components, routing edges and surfaces, applying varnish and finishes, and carrying out visual quality inspections throughout the process.

The role requires a consistent approach to repetitive tasks, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. The role would suit someone who enjoys precision work, is comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks, and takes satisfaction in producing a high-quality finish.

Experience / Skills Required:

• Experience working with wood is beneficial
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred for this role
