Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield
Pay Rate: £14.00 – £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday – Days

JDR Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced CNC Machinists, CNC Millers and CNC Turners to join our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with previous CNC experience looking for a long-term role with the opportunity to secure permanent employment.

The Roles:

  • Operating CNC milling and turning machines

  • Working with XYZ CNC machinery using Siemens controls

  • Machining metal components to required specifications

  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

  • Setting machines and making adjustments where required

  • Carrying out quality checks on finished parts

  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and to a high standard

The Candidate:
The successful CNC Machinists will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a CNC Miller, CNC Turner, CNC Operator or CNC Machinist

  • Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment

  • Knowledge of Siemens controls would be beneficial

  • Experience machining metal materials

  • Ability to read engineering drawings

  • A good eye for detail and a positive attitude towards work

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:00am – 3:30pm

39 hours per week
30-minute unpaid break each day

Pay:
£14.00 – £15.00 per hour depending on experience
