Fabricator

We are currently looking for experienced Fabricators on a permanent basis for our client based in Blaydon.

Hours Monday to Thursday 0800-1630 and Friday 0800-1500 (38 hours)

Permanent role, salary £24,127.00 to £29,640.00 depending on experience

Holidays 25 days plus Bank holidays

The role
To be part of team that collectively strikes to meet daily production targets and objectives. To fabricate aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling, read and understand fabrication drawings.

Duties
To operate the machinery correctly and safety, report any faults immediately to the supervisor
To follow the fabrication packs provided carefully and ask if required for clarification whenever uncertain

Report any failures, breakdowns or any inaccurate operation of machinery Adhere to health and safety requirements and ensure correct PPE is used.

Carry out daily and weekly checks assigned and complete paperwork

To follow closely the quality control system with the following documentation being specific to the role

Qualifications

Proven experience in aluminium fabricator

Ability to read and understand technical drawings

Skilled in the use of fabrication tools and machinery

Strong attention to detail and quality control

Basic maths and measuring skills

Physical ability to lift and handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods
