JDR are working with a well-established Belfast legal practice to recruit two experienced Legal Secretaries to join a busy litigation team.

These positions will suit candidates who thrive in a fast-paced legal environment and will ideally have previous experience supporting litigation matters within County Court and High Court proceedings.

The Role

You will provide full secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within a busy litigation department, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of active case files and court-related work.

Duties Will Include

• Audio and copy typing of legal documentation and correspondence
• Preparation of court documents, briefs, and bundles
• Diary and appointment management
• Managing and maintaining case files using ALB software
• Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, and third parties
• Handling incoming calls, emails, and general correspondence
• Filing, document management, and general legal administration
• Supporting solicitors across a varied litigation caseload
• Ensuring deadlines and court timelines are met

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Legal Secretary ideally within litigation or other practice areas
• Experience supporting County Court and/or High Court matters
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong typing and IT skills
• Professional communication skills and ability to work within a busy office environment
• Experience with ALB case management software advantageous but not essential

Package

• Competitive salary dependent on experience
• Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
• 20 days annual leave plus statutory holidays
