Machine Operator/ Setter

We are looking for a Machine operator/ Setter

Pay: £14.22 an hour

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Immediate start

Shift: Monday to Friday 3 week rotating shifts, 1 week nights 10pm-6am, 1 week of am 6am-2pm, 1 week of pm 2pm-10pm

Temporary to permanent contract

JDR is recruiting for a Machine Operator/ Setter to work in a manufacturing site in Bridgwater

The role: As a Machine Operator/ Setter, you will be working within a manufacturing environment, and your duties will be as followed:

* Responsible for setting and adjusting forming machine tools and ancillary equipment in conjunction with safe systems of work.
* Ensuring machines and equipment are set in accordance with the Health & Safety Policy/ Arrangement Manual.
* The adherence and promotion of quality and hygiene arrangements in all relevant areas ensuring a clean and tidy working environment is maintained.
* Ensuring finished product is given a first-off approval and that ongoing production is within specification.
* The appropriate manufacturing and quality documentation is completed.
* Ensuring raw materials used comply with the works order.
* This list is not exhaustive and you will be required to carry out other duties within your trained capabilities.

About you: As a Machine Operator/ Setter you will have the following skills and experience:

• Previous background within machine operating
• Attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Reliable
• Good working attitude
