We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Plater to join our steelworks client in the Brampton on Swale area. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity with an immediate start available.

What you’ll be doing –

• Correct use of grinders and associated consumables whilst adhering to the HAVS regulations
• Demonstrates commitment to HSEQ.
• Ensures that all relevant safe operating procedures are adopted in line with the company requirements.
• Works to production targets to ensure company deadlines are met.
• Supports and engages in all training activities

What we’re looking for –

• Experience working with structural steel is essential
• Previous experience in plating or equivalent qualifications
• Excellent understanding of plating codes and standards
• Understanding and use of overhead cranes and slinging techniques
• Understanding of Engineering Drawings

Hours of work –

Monday to Friday: 6am – 2:30pm, 40 hours per week

Saturday overtime available: 7am-12:30pm, paid at time and a half
